Well Done! Moron Ferrier Hodgson! They are pushing resopnsbilities away to the "deteriorating" financial conditions! I thought they found "not even a piece of paper" in the account department as per informed by the teachers who attended their meeting???
What the hell is this? Ceasing operations on 30th September 2008? Aren't they already "ceased" all the operations? Does the honorable judge know about all these? Or they just do this with their own likings?
The letter mentioned "necessary funding", how much is the "funding" they need? Why was this not made transparent to all? Why can't we members stand an opportunity to invest into the business? What's this Ferrie Hodgson doing?
Where's the transparency of your practice? You are here to heal the company? White Knight? Come on, you all are men, stand up and face the public, Miss Lay Gaik, thanks for appointing this "great and almighty" receivers to wrap up YZ and finish off our package, you desrved to be enjoying the soon-to-come karma!

We are a group of ladies from Klang, we have been contacting Ferrier Hodgson for more than a month to look into the possibilities to invest, till now no news. What are they doing?

"Due to the financial position of the Company, the Company is unable to make rental payments for the premises of the aforesaid outlets. In this regard, the respective landlords of the said premises have taken possession of the same on 8 September 2008 for the Sri Hartamas outlet, on 9 September 2008 for the Kepong outlet and on 17 September 2008 for the Cheras outlet. As at the date of this circular, we are unaware of the landlord’s intentions with regard to the premises."
The circular is not even dated. The receivers not aware that Urban Yoga has taken over the premises for Damas and Kepong???
Speaking as a 3rd party observer - I thought Ferrier Hodgson's core business are accounting, business forensics, corporate restructing and advisory? In other words, they are an accounting, evaluation and consultation firm. AFAIK, they aren't an investor.
Contacting and blaming FH is pointless. Afterall, it's not up to them to accept the offer, it's up to the owner (aka. TJ). They can bring this issue up to TJ but ultimately, it's up to TJ to determine if this bunch of investors is genuine. From experience, Australian companies charge money when you use their services. For FH to run all the necessary background checks on this investor group and determine if they are viable, no doubt there will be additional charges for TJ. If TJ has no money to pay them, then they're not obligated to do anything for him.
At the end of the day, the true culprit for all the current problems is still with TJ, LG and YZ's previous management.
the receiver is appointed by Lay Gaik, and according to receivership act 1965, the receiver must inform the directors within 72 hours after the receivership, according to insiders that pro-TJ, ferrier hodgson only manage to send the notice to TJ on 25th august, which was two weeks after the receivership. Hence, this might be an invalid receivership. If it's invalid, lay gaik is in big trouble!

if only LG has not brought YZ into receivership, maybe TJ would have got the loan released and things could have been better without a closedown. Now with FH it only worsen the situation and has led to a closure. MORONSES
Lay gaik is in deep trouble, one of YZ previous teacher is suing her on defamatory statement! She scolded the teacher "bitch" during the official meeting by receivers! 8 teachers are doing the statutory declaration because they were all there attended the meeting, lay gaik yelled at the teacher, "Fxxk! Fxxk! Who let this bitch come in?" so you know the quality of her!

These 3 outlets got so many members and guaranteeeeeeeeeeeeeee making money.
yeah, i feel like uneasy to go back to YZ but having know that is managed by the same team that destroyed YZ. There is no more story, no history, no passion, no yoga...i would rather go somewhere else new.
